Forest Bathing (also known as Nature Therapy or Forest Therapy) is a well-being practice inspired by the Japanese tradition of Shinrin Yoku. It combines nature immersion with mindfulness, embodiment and meditation practices to encourage participants to slow down, use their senses and connect with the natural world. Evidence has shown that forest bathing can have benefits such as decreasing stress, easing anxiety and depression, improving immune response and promoting well-being.
